Job summary

Prometeia seeks a Consultant to join our Istanbul team, driving innovation in financial risk and enterprise risk management solutions. You will contribute to projects on risk topics and system implementation while collaborating with project managers in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will join a specialized team based in İstanbul, operating within financial risk or/and credit risk subjects. The consultant will support the project managers in the management of the activities relating to the following areas:

• Asset & Liability Management
• Liquidity Risk Management
• System implementation

As well as background knowledge of the banking sector with respect to:

• Conventional and synthetic banking products and derivative products and mechanism of working
• Valuation and related accounting practices, reconciliation logic, financial statement knowledge

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A degree or master's degree with excellent marks in Economics/Finance, Statistics coupled with sound technical and quantitative knowledge is required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Preferred qualifications include:

• Strong analytical, planning, creative problems solving and multi-tasking skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to interface with internal and external parties in a professional manner
• Experience in Enterprise Risk Management implementation steps such as familiarity of data model creation, system implementation, UAT test cases preparations, production migration or upgrade steps,etc.
• SQL, visual basic, C#, or equivalent coding abilities are highly preferable.
• Excellent usage skills of Microsoft Office tools, especially with usage of visual basic functionality.
