Job summary

Vispera is seeking a Computer Vision & Machine Learning Engineer to maintain and enhance CV/ML pipelines in Python, delivering optimized workflows for training, inference, and deployment. You will work with OpenCV and major DL frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and deploy models using ONNX or TensorRT.

You will collaborate with software engineers and researchers, design experiments, analyze results, and communicate findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with OpenCV.
• Experience with at least one major deep learning framework such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with ONNX or TensorRT.
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals, deep learning, and computer vision techniques.
• Experience designing and evaluating experiments using sound scientific methodology.
• Ability to analyze results and communicate findings clearly in written reports.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development practices.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and clarity.
• Strong ownership mindset with disciplined follow-up and attention to detail.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Passion for being a part of a fast-growing BaaS company.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues across data processing, model training, and inference pipelines.
• Stay informed about recent developments in computer vision and machine learning research.

• Knowledge of image classification, object detection, segmentation, OCR, or visual embeddings.
• Experience reading and implementing ideas from academic research papers.
• Experience with Go.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001:2022 and act as required by these systems.
