Job description

In our commercial organization reporting to Sales Manager- Molecular, CEM will be responsible of the demonstrate and promote the clinical value of bioMérieux molecular products range and solutions to labs, physicians & other healthcare providers (HCPs) by supporting their implementation within the hospital or healthcare environment in order to improve patient outcomes and promote demand & prescription.

What will your responsibilities within bioMérieux?

  • Be the responsible for commercialization of molecular diagnostic tests & solutions and actively contribute to reaching our company sales goals by providing clinical expertise necessary to promote their adoption and use while working with medical and marketing teams
  • Contribute actively to the company's sales targets by promoting products through field visits and remote access.
  • Demonstrate the clinical and economic value of our high medical value products and solutions by providing education to physicians, nurses, pharmacy staff & other healthcare providers and performing clinical presentations in relevant hospital departments and at pertinent medical events
  • Develop Key Opinion leaders (KOL) network among Clinicians, Laboratory and Administration : capitalize on relationship opportunities for selling bioMérieux products & services
  • Follow up qualified leads and convert these into buying and prescribing customers by visiting Clinicians and the C-Suite
  • Working closely with medical teams to enable our customers in fully utilizing the clinical potential of our products & identify and formulate clinical case studies
  • Support and create field based activities of bioMérieux teams and clinical knowledge : business workforce training, report satisfaction & needs & market trends, create new revenue opportunities, in executing retention plan at critical accounts, cooperate with marketing representatives and medical teams.
  • Participate in local and/or regional and/or national educational and promotional initiatives, if needed (eg; trade shows and congresses, symposia and other medical events…)
  • Incooperation with local distributor and support/organize to accelerate their target in the region

Who are you?

  • Preferably scientific or business degree in related fields,
  • Minimum 5 years experience in medical device sales and/or marketing and knowledge of the product line and its application, knowing how to build and cement strong client relationships that support long term sales objectives,
  • Familiarity with infectious disease diagnosis, treatment and/or clinical microbiology or methods is desirable,
  • Knowledge of laboratory workflow, hospital environment, clinical care pathways and tender,
  • Proven skills and experience in presenting medical and technical information to audiences with various degrees of scientific and clinical backgrounds,
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills,
  • Customer and problem solving oriented,
  • Cooperation and team player mindset, negotiation skills,
  • Ability to convince, persuade and influence in selling situations,
  • Organized, rigorous and autonomous,
  • Fluent in English,
  • No restrictions to travel.
