About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Carbon Project Specialist with strong expertise in the Voluntary Carbon Market. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the entire project lifecycle—from concept development to certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop carbon projects within the Voluntary Carbon Market, including methodology selection and implementation
• Conduct feasibility studies, design, and implementation for carbon sequestration projects (energy, waste, etc.)
• Prepare project documentation in line with international standards (VERRA, Gold Standard, ICR etc.)
• Coordinate with Validation and Verification Bodies (VVBs) during project validation and verification
• Monitor global carbon market developments and provide strategic insights

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Voluntary Carbon Market
• Strong knowledge of international carbon standards and methodologies
• Proven skills in project management, reporting, and data analysis
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Team player with a solution-oriented mindset
