This position reports to:

Sales Manager

For our Sales team, understanding the full potential of our technology and the trends in our markets is highly rewarding. Additionally, helping customers all over the world improve efficiency, save resources, and reduce emissions gives our work a powerful sense of purpose. You will be responsible for the sale of cutting-edge ABB products in Electrification Turkey. You will use your experience and drive to build long-standing customer relationships, identifying effective solutions for customer needs.

Your Responsibilities
  • Build and manage sales groups for Building and Home Automation Solutions (KNX & Mechanical Automation), ensuring forecasting, volume growth, price quality/margin, and customer satisfaction objectives are met through excellent customer relations and increasing market share. The BHAS Anatolia Sales Manager ensures sales targets are achieved or exceeded, and net margins maximize profitability.
  • Create, plan, and implement the specified market sales strategy in accordance with overall marketing and sales strategies. Conduct regular follow-ups to achieve targets, establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand needs, promote the full product offering, and align solutions accordingly. Perform regular status reviews and propose recovery plans in case of potential order shortfalls. Oversee product categories to align with corporate growth objectives and develop strategies to increase the sales team's digital acumen.
  • Communicate details in line with ABB’s offerings and strategy, including delivery times, payments, and general terms and conditions.
  • Participate in sales strategy discussions for the assigned region, agree on short-term and long-term goals, and coordinate sales and marketing efforts involving channel partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in existing and potential customer organizations.
  • Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.
  • Coach, motivate, and develop direct and indirect reports within HR policies.
  • Drive and ensure knowledge sharing and cross-collaboration.
  • Demonstrate ABB’s core values and group safety and integrity standards. Implement and ensure compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in the assigned area. Ensure adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies. Maintain integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities.
Qualifications
  • University degree in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Sales experience in the electrical market, particularly in Business Development and sales of Building and Home Automation Solutions (KNX & Mechanical Automation). Significant experience in sales or account management is required.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Turkish language proficiency is mandatory; intermediate level of written and spoken English is required.
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented, analytical, detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Teamwork and decision-making skills are essential.
  • Good representation skills for the company.
