A leading cloud service provider is seeking a candidate for a full-remote role focused on deploying fixes for the Autonomous Database service. You will work on performance management and architecture while collaborating with cross-functional teams in the Turkiye region. A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and solid experience with Linux and Oracle Database technology are essential. You'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud services.
The Autonomous Database Team is responsible for building the Cloud service framework powering Oracle Autonomous Database cloud services, including Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) and Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP). The framework automates deployment, scaling and management of databases in the cloud and is built on top of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Layer. The framework features APIs to handle all lifecycle management operations of databases and performs operations autonomously based on internal and external events. The team has the opportunity to contribute to the full stack of Oracle technology, from database kernel to cloud service platform and customer-facing portals.
You will be responsible for deploying fixes for the Autonomous Database service with a deep focus on architecture, production operations, performance management, deployment and release engineering. You will work with multiple cross-functional teams delivering new and outstanding experiences to our stakeholders while ensuring reliability and performance. The successful candidate will interface with senior management and delivery teams across OCI and the database security and compliance architecture team to define and maintain our compliance posture in an environment of increasing regulatory expectations and growth.
