Job summary

Fountain Tire Calgary is seeking an Automotive Tire Technician to join our team. The role involves installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires, including TPMS work, with a focus on safety and quality. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

We value a customer-service mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well with a team. A valid driver’s license and basic computer skills are required; lifting up to 25 kg is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous tire experience preferred, but training offered.
• Knowledge of passenger and light truck tires and wheels is an asset.
• Customer-service focus with ability to develop and maintain relationships.
• Attention to detail and safety.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift 25 kilograms.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Reset and repair TPMS.
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regular basis.
• Complete specialty tire work (studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.).
• Assist in inventory management through documentation and annual counts.
• Maintain safety for yourself and coworkers.
