Please be aware that the related factory is in Kartal, Istanbul and will be moved to Dilovası, Kocaeli in 8 months.
How you’ll make an impact
- Contract detailed review, understanding the requirements of the contract, identifying conflicts, deviations / clarifications, and coordinating between customer & factory to ensure a shared understanding of project details. Updates to contract / order documents like Hand Over Checklists, Project Dashboard, MPS commitments, etc.
- Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducting risk analysis and monitoring progress against milestones and budgets. Updating project dashboards and recording issues like margin slippage, cost increases, LDs, etc.
- Ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviewing project deliverables. Liaising with various organizational users to analyze and document requirements. Ensuring quality outcomes for customer documents, approval drawings, customer formats, and milestone achievements, aligning factory priorities with customer expectations.
- Managing vendor tasks and reviewing vendor deliverables where applicable. Monitoring project milestones and proactively flagging issues, including vendor quality issues, with feedback for continuous improvement.
- Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. Overseeing production, quality, shipment, transport, and logistics coordination, stepping in when necessary.
- Managing projects independently with limited supervision. Coordinating between customer and factory, participating in handovers, reviews, planning, testing, CCRP coordination, and follow-up meetings.
- Monitoring project budget versus actual costs, raising red flags proactively. Updating FCM at project completion and supporting cost control efforts.
- Using SAP for project sales order updates, invoicing, and shipping document preparation.
- Preparing customs documents for export according to customer and country requirements.
- Following up on CCRPs from customers, resolving issues timely, and coordinating closures.
- Listening to customer feedback via T-NPS surveys for continuous improvement.
- Coordinating cash collection, milestone achievements, and notifications between customers, factory, and controlling teams.
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
- Proven experience in Project Management within the relevant industry.
- Valid PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience in managing project scope, costs, schedules, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Effective project management and communication skills.
- Commitment to excellence, customer focus, action orientation, flexibility, and decision-making skills.
- Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication skills.
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including MS Projects.
- Advanced written and spoken English and Turkish skills.
