Job summary

Amadeus in Istanbul is seeking an Associate Frontend Developer (Regional Services) to translate UI/UX designs into high-quality code and contribute to Amadeus solutions across countries. You will work with a global engineering community in an Agile setting to shape frontend strategy and implementation.

You should have 2–3 years of frontend experience, strong English, and solid HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Sass and RxJS skills.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related field.
• 2–3 years of frontend development experience.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Sass, RxJS.
• Basic experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular preferred).
• Basic experience with version control systems (Git).

• No overseas travel restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Translate UI/UX design wireframes into functional frontend code.

Job Title Associate Frontend Developer (Regional Services) Amadeus is the leading technology provider to the travel industry and is present in 190+ countries around the world. In Software Development Engineer role, you'll be a member of the Airline Engineering Services Unit and global engineering community and find a chance to collaborate in the definition of the strategy of the Software Development, technological framework and functional approach in Agile Environment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You'll also find a chance to work on the implementation of Amadeus solutions in different countries. In this role you'll find a chance to:

• Design, code, test, debug, document and maintain software solutions
• Work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation
• Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies
• Collaborate in the validation/acceptance phase of the product cycle ensuring the fine-tuning necessary to finalize the product

What we are looking for

To succeed in this role, you're required to have relevant experience in the following areas:

• BSc. / MSc. in Computer Science or in related areas
• Ideally 2-3 years of Frontend Development experience
• Advanced level of written and oral English communication skills
• Good knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, Sass, RxJS
• Basic experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular is preferred)
• Basic experience with version control system - Git (Bitbucket, Azure Repo)
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
• No overseas travel restrictions
• Agile experience (Scrum/Kanban) is a plus
