Main Job Purpose

The main purpose of the role is to guarantee the perfect execution of the Procurement Strategy into related categories. It considers not only the category itself, but also the factories and other areas in the Supply Chain. It is the position that links the main projects and materials strategies into the P&L of the category and in the daily routines of factories in Turkey while managing the major transformational projects in procurement.

Main Responsibilities

• Part of the procurement team, responsible for all purchase commercial and/or operational activities
• Manage procurement of raw materials for different Unilever sites
• Responsible for the effective management of procurement and operations raw materials
• Build or support local procurement strategic plan
• Collect, monitor and manage market information, provide analysis and price forecasts
• Deliver KPIs such as savings & inflation mitigation, cash, incident management, etc.
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate inflation and create savings for respective portfolios
• Improve relationships and service with suppliers
• Handle operational issues when they arise

What You Will Need to Succeed

Experiences & Qualifications

• University/Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably from industrial, foods or chemical engineering
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain
• Fluency in English and Turkish is a must

Additional Information

As publicly announced, Unilever will separate its Ice Cream business by the end of 2025. This role will transfer to the new Ice Cream company.
