We are looking for an experienced Application Technologist – Sweet Goods & Bakery to join our Food Flavors team in Istanbul.
This role is designed for a hands‑on food application professional who combines strong technical expertise in sweet goods and bakery applications with a customer‑oriented mindset. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating customer needs and flavor concepts into successful finished‑product applications.
As an Application Technologist, you will be responsible for developing, testing and optimizing flavor applications across sweet goods and bakery categories, while providing technical application support to our customers and internal commercial and creative teams.
You will act as an important technical bridge between customers, Flavorists, Sales and R&D, helping transform flavor ideas into commercially relevant solutions.
You are not only an application technologist — you understand the customer's product.
You can listen to a customer brief, identify the technical challenge, work with Flavorists to select the right flavor direction and turn that direction into a successful finished‑product application.
You combine technical depth, sensory understanding, creativity and customer orientation, and you enjoy seeing an idea move from the laboratory bench to a commercially successful product.
