Job description

What you’ll do

• Provide day-to-day IT support for the organization’s top executives, addressing issues related to software, hardware, smartphones, tablets, and other devices.

• Offer expert-level troubleshooting and break/fix support for Microsoft Windows, Office, iOS devices, and video conferencing equipment.

• Manage executive-level incident response, including diagnosing, prioritizing, and resolving technical issues with timely updates and clear communication.

• Support key executive meetings both on-site and remotely, ensuring all technical equipment and platforms function flawlessly.

• Proactively maintain and update executive IT assets, including laptops, mobile devices, printers, and audiovisual systems.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the functional mailbox, delivering announcements and educative content to users to enhance their daily technology skills.

• Collaborate with procurement teams when needed to source and deploy IT hardware and software for executives.

• Provide floor-walking support post-deployment and conduct training or onboarding for new technologies used by executives.

• Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level teams or vendors while maintaining ownership of the resolution process.

Who you are

• Experience: At least 5 years in IT Desktop Support, including a minimum of 3 years in a VIP/Executive Support role. Experience in private organizations, particularly in the technology sectors, is highly desirable.

• Technical Proficiency:

  1. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, and iOS platforms.
  2. Proven ability to support and maintain video conferencing systems and smart devices.
  3. Basic understanding of networks, servers, videoconferencing systems and audio/visual technologies.

• Incident Management: Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing, prioritizing, and resolving IT issues, with the ability to escalate complex problems when necessary.

• Customer Focus: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to interact effectively with senior leaders in time-pressure situations.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Solution-oriented with a proactive approach to resolving challenges efficiently and effectively.

• Flexibility: Ability to support off-site executive events, provide after-hours assistance when required, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Certifications: Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.

• Language: Proficient in both written and spoken English.
