Job summary

Accenture Teknopark Istanbul (Kurtköy) is seeking an Android platform software engineer to advance AAOS, AOSP, and System Services for next-generation infotainment systems. You will work on Android platform software across AOSP, framework, and platform components, focusing on debugging, optimization, and platform bring-up.

The role requires strong C/C++, Java/Kotlin skills, experience with Git/Gerrit, and familiarity with Android build systems.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and debugging Android platform software across AOSP or AAOS.
• Solid understanding of Android Framework, System Services, Binder, AIDL, and HIDL.
• Programming skills in C/C++, Java, and Kotlin.
• Experience with Git and Gerrit-based development workflows.
• Experience with Android build systems such as Soong, Bazel, and Gradle.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance profiling skills using Logcat, Perfetto, Systrace, and related tools.
• Experience with Android platform upgrades and migrations.
• Working knowledge of SELinux policies and Android security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Android platform software across AOSP, Android Framework, System Services, and platform components.
• Perform root-cause analysis, debugging, profiling, and resolution of complex platform issues.
• Support Android platform bring-up on emulator, Trout, and hardware targets.
• Contribute to Android platform migrations and software releases.
• Participate in code reviews, technical and architectural discussions.

What We Do

• Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and AOSP platform development
• Android Framework and System Services customization
• Android platform migrations and version upgrades
• System debugging, profiling, and performance optimization
• Development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Android platform features and services

• Experience with CTS, VTS, and Android compatibility testing
• Experience with virtualization or hypervisor technologies
• Experience with Linux, Embedded Linux, Yocto, or BSP customization
• Exposure to Functional Safety (ISO 26262) or Automotive Cybersecurity standards
• Experience working in ASPICE-compliant development environments
