Job summary

OBSS is seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our engineering team in a hybrid work setup. You will design, build, and maintain high-quality native Android applications using Kotlin and Java, delivering robust features and excellent user experiences across diverse industries.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to implement scalable architectures (MVVM/MVI, Clean Architecture) and integrate RESTful APIs, while ensuring performance, stability,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience developing native Android applications.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java; solid Android fundamentals.
• Experience with MVVM/MVI and Clean Architecture concepts.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and using Retrofit; familiar with databases like Room/SQLite.
• Unit/UI testing (JUnit, Espresso) and knowledge of modern Android tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android apps using Kotlin/Java.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver UX-focused features.
• Architect scalable, reusable app components with MVVM/MVI and clean patterns.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries; ensure performance and battery efficiency.
• Write unit tests and UI tests; participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
