Paribu is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and operate production-grade LLM applications, including RAG pipelines and agent/tool integrations. You will develop scalable back-end services and APIs powering AI products and internal knowledge systems, while establishing observability for quality, latency, and cost.

You will collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders, ensuring secure, governance-focused AI systems and efficient deployment in a cloud/Kubernetes environment.

Formación

• Hands-on experience building production-grade LLM applications, including RAG, embeddings, hybrid search, reranking, prompt engineering, and agent/tool-use architectures.
• Strong backend engineering skills with Python and/or TypeScript/Go, API design, asynchronous systems, databases, vector stores, and message queues.
• Experience evaluating and monitoring LLM systems with eval sets, metrics, tracing, latency and cost optimization.

The impact you'll make

At Paribu, every team member plays a crucial role in driving innovation and delivering high-quality solutions. As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, building, and operating production-grade LLM applications, including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and tool integrations
• Building scalable backend services and APIs that power AI products and internal knowledge systems
• Developing evaluation and observability practices to measure model quality, reliability, latency, and cost
• Designing secure and permission-aware AI systems with strong data governance, privacy, and auditability
• Integrating AI capabilities with developer and collaboration tools such as GitHub, Slack, CI/CD pipelines, and MCP-based tools
• Owning AI solutions end to end, from architecture and experimentation to cloud deployment and production operations
• Working closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders to identify high-impact AI use cases and turn them into scalable solutions
• Driving adoption of AI-powered workflows across teams by experimenting, measuring impact, and continuously improving solutions
• Contributing to the development of the AI engineering team through technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing

• Hands-on experience building production-grade LLM applications, including RAG, embeddings, hybrid search, reranking, prompt/context engineering, and agent or tool-use architectures
• Strong backend engineering skills with Python and/or TypeScript/Go, API design, asynchronous systems, databases, vector stores, and message queues
• Experience evaluating and monitoring LLM systems through eval sets, online/offline metrics, tracing, and latency and cost optimization
• Strong understanding of security and data governance, including permission-aware retrieval, PII handling, secrets management, and auditability
• Experience integrating AI systems with developer tools and workflows such as GitHub, Slack, CI/CD, and MCP-style integrations
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Strong product and engineering judgment, with the ability to balance accuracy, cost, complexity, security, and speed
• Ability to operate in ambiguous 0→1 environments, define problems, ship quickly, and iterate based on real user feedback
• Clear communication skills with the ability to explain AI trade-offs and technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong ownership and ability to influence cross-functional teams through results, collaboration, and enablement
• Experience mentoring engineers or contributing to building and growing engineering teams
• Experience with GraphRAG, knowledge graphs, fine-tuning, model distillation, or coding agents is considered a plus
