Job summary

Sandvik Group is seeking an Applications Specialist to support aerospace customers, manage accounts, and generate new opportunities. The role involves understanding customers' needs in metalworking, educating customers and distributors about Sandvik Coromant’s offerings, and effectively communicating requirements back to the Sandvik Coromant Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in cutting tools and aerospace machining.
• Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM systems and digital machining.
• Willingness to travel extensively; military service completed (male).

Responsibilities

• Build relationships in customer production and production management and close deals.
• Provide total delivery of technical solutions for aerospace industry and sales support to customers and distributors.
• Coordinate interaction between technical and commercial departments and distributor services.
• Prepare integrated solutions for customers and support visits to current and potential accounts.
• Develop and deliver training to external partners and customers on product features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems during or after implementation.
