Job summary

GE Aerospace Turkey is seeking an engineer to contribute to the design and development of airfoil mechanical designs and aeromechanics for turbomachinery components. You will work in Istanbul with labs in Kocaeli and Gebze, collaborating across disciplines to advance engine programs and additive manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in FEA, vibration analysis, and AI-assisted design, and can apply theory to practical problems while working in a multidisciplinary environment

Qualifications

• Advanced experience in Mechanical Engineering and related fields.
• At least 2 years in turbomachinery component design.
• Experience with FEA: static structural and modal analyses.
• Strong background in vibration, materials, fatigue, fluids and DSP.
• Ability to use AI to automate analysis and design tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of airfoil mechanical systems for turbomachinery.
• Perform static and modal analyses of components.
• Use AI tools to improve design trade-offs in multidisciplinary work.
• Align work with business drivers and cross‑team integration.
