Job summary

Gea Group is seeking an Accounting Specialist to manage invoice processing, vendor and employee reconciliations, and month-end activities in a multinational environment. You will work with SAP and Concur, ensure accurate records, and coordinate with procurement and logistics to keep processes compliant and timely.

Key responsibilities include payment planning, FX difference calculations, payroll entries, and maintaining accounting records in line with Turkish GAAP and company procedures.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of AP accounting experience
• English proficiency
• Turkish GAAP knowledge

Responsibilities

• Process and record expense invoices in SAP accurately and timely
• Prepare weekly payment plans and monitor related processes
• Perform vendor account reconciliations and balance checks
• Carry out vendor clearing and foreign exchange difference calculations
• Process employee expenses into Concur and ensure accuracy of records
• Reconcile employee accounts and follow up on discrepancies
• Coordinate daily invoice review and approval with procurement, logistics, etc.
• Record month-end payroll entries in the accounting system
• Maintain all accounting records in compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities / Tasks

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to manage invoice processing, vendor and employee reconciliations, payment planning, and month-end accounting activities. The role requires strong attention to detail, SAP & Concur experience, and effective collaboration with internal teams to ensure accurate and compliant financial operations.

• Ensure the accurate and timely recording of expense invoices in SAP
• Prepare weekly payment plans and monitor the related processes.
• Perform vendor account reconciliations and ensure accurate balance and current account checks.
• Perform vendor clearing activities and carry out the necessary foreign exchange difference calculations.
• Process employee expense forms into Concur system and ensure the accuracy of the related accounting records.
• Perform employee accounts reconciliations and follow up on any discrepancies.
• Manage and follow up the review and approval flow of daily incoming invoices with related departments (procurement, logistics, etc.).
• Record month-end payroll entries in the accounting system.
• Ensure that all accounting and finance-related records are maintained accurately, completely, on time and in compliance with company procedures and applicable legal and regulatory requirements

Your Profile / Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, or related fields
• Professional level of English
• Min 3-4years of experience as AP Accountant, multinational company experience is a +
• Strong knowledge of SAP and Turkish GAAP
• SMMM qualification is +
• Strong communication skills, adaptable, collaborative
