So, what responsibilities does the Accounting Specialist take on at Otokoç Otomotiv?

  • Ensure that accounting transactions are carried out in accordance with relevant legislation and company procedures.
  • Perform reconciliation processes for current accounts.
  • Monitor and manage the compliance of purchases, expenses, and advances with relevant procedures and budget.
  • Record and control daily accounting entries.
  • Verify and archive all official documents to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Record monthly period-end transactions (depreciation entries, income/expense accruals, periodization entries, valuation entries, and reflection) and prepare monthly trial balance control tables for responsible accounts.
  • Oversee, track, and report general accounting tasks.
Qualifications
  • Graduated from the departments of Economics, Business Administration, or Finance at a university.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting.
  • Proficient in the Uniform Chart of Accounts and Tax Procedure Law (VUK) legislation.
  • Preferably experienced in SAP and actively involved in SAP transition processes.
  • Preferably holds a Certified Public Accountant (SMMM) certificate.
  • Possesses an analytical and solution-oriented approach.
  • Responsible and disciplined.
  • Experienced in e-transformation applications as per legislation (e-invoice, e-dispatch, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills, with an aptitude for analytical thinking and problem-solving, able to work well in a team, and maintain effective communication and collaboration with business units.
  • Preferably has experience in finance and reporting.
  • Good command of English.
