A financial services firm in Turkey is looking for an Accounting Specialist to manage invoice processing and expense reimbursements. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, along with 3-5 years of accounting experience and proficiency in English and Turkish. Familiarity with Turkish accounting standards and financial software like SAP or QuickBooks is essential. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also required.
Responsibilities
Invoice & Docs Management: Issue invoices/delivery notes (track serial numbers); organize/archive financial docs for easy retrieval.
Expense Reimbursement: Collect/verify monthly reimbursement docs; ensure compliance with company policies.
Accounts Receivable Support: Monitor customer payment status; send payment reminders before due dates.
Bank Coordination: Assist with bank reconciliation, prepare/submit bank docs, and resolve daily bank-related issues.
Key Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related; professional certificates (ACCA/CPA/local) preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years of accounting experience; familiar with Turkish accounting standards, tax policies.
Language: Proficient in English (oral/written) and Turkish (must).
Skills: Familiar with financial software (SAP/QuickBooks) and Excel; attention to confidentiality and details.
Qualities: Good communication, team work, problem-solving ability, and ability to meet deadlines.
