Accounting and Finance Specialist, Picus Security, Ankara, Türkiye

If you're a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting and Finance Specialist who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, this is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in the financial operations of a growing company. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial data and accounting records by processing sales, purchase, and bank transactions, taking part in daily accounting and finance operations, and supporting month-end and quarter-end closings.

As an Accounting and Finance Specialist you will also contribute to key financial processes such as account reconciliations and cash flow reporting. We're ultimately looking for a reliable and driven individual to help maintain financial integrity and support continuous improvement across our finance function.

What You'll Do

  • Process sales and purchase invoices, as well as bank transactions, into the ERP system on a daily and weekly basis
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely follow-up on collections and payments
  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data
  • Participate in the preparation and reporting of cash flow statements
  • Support the month-end and quarter-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
  • Oversee and control fixed asset transactions in accordance with internal policies
  • Manage and track e-invoicing and e-archive processes in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate and maintain necessary financial documentation within the department
  • Review and process all personnel-related expenses
  • Support the sales invoicing process within the Finance function
  • Contribute to daily and monthly financial operations, including activities related to Technopark compliance

What You Have

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting and finance
  • Understanding of Turkish accounting principles and relevant legal regulations
  • Proven ability to execute accounting transactions in compliance with statutory requirements
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms is a must
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with a willingness to take initiative and contribute to team goals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
  • Experience at a Big Four company is considered as a plus
