A game development company based in Istanbul is seeking a talented illustrator to join their team. This on-site role involves producing layout sketches, illustrating 2D assets, and collaborating closely with marketing on storyboards. Ideal candidates should possess strong illustration skills, proficiency in design tools like Photoshop or Illustrator, and a passion for mobile puzzle games. Qualifications

• Illustrate characters, scenes, items, and other 2D visual assets.
• Transform illustrated storyboards into engaging animatic sequences.
• Familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Solid knowledge of design, color, composition and typography.
• Passion for Match Villains and mobile puzzle games.
• Nice to have: ToonBoom, After Effects or Premiere experience.
• Nice to have: portfolio with storyboard samples.

Responsibilities

• Produce layout sketches from briefs and polish visuals.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create storyboards.
• Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Produce layout sketches from briefs, polish visuals, contribute ideas
• Illustrate characters, scenes, items, and other 2D visual assets

• Translate creative briefs into clear visual sequences
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create storyboards for advertising videos
• Transform illustrated storyboards into engaging animatic sequences ensuring pacing and storytelling flow
• Familiarity with AI tools to support the marketing pipeline is a plus
