What We Are Looking For:

We have an exciting opportunity available in our SAPMENA Operations function. This person will be responsible for the strategic Indirect Sourcing for South Asia Pacific, Middle East & North Africa. You will have the opportunity to develop robust sourcing strategies and roadmaps for these critical indirect sourcing categories for retail and participate in and initiate strategic regional projects that enhance our brand presence and operational efficiency in retail environments.

This role will be based in Singapore and will report directly to theSAPMENA Head of Indirect Procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

Category Strategy & Roadmap Development:Develop comprehensive Indirect Sourcing category strategies and roadmaps in alignment with global sourcing guidelines and regional business needs. They are: POS CAPEX, POSM Materials, Print and Promotional items

Country Team Coaching & Supervision:Coach, supervise, and upskill the 12 market local procurement teams and country buyers across SAPMENA, leading best practices and benchmarking. Support and guide country teams on regional and local projects, ensuring alignment with global/regional category strategies and driving efficiency.

Strategic Regional Project Management:Identify, initiate, and drive strategic regional sourcing projects. This includes managing regional Request for X (RFX) processes, facilitating stakeholder steering committees for decision-making on best-suited suppliers, and ensuring successful project implementation in countries (including budget set-up, trend analysis, and saving tracking).

Supplier Relationship Management (SRM):Develop and manage a robust portfolio of SAPMENA regional suppliers

Risk Management & Compliance Assurance:Proactively anticipate and mitigate risks associated with the sourcing and supply for your indirect category. Assure strict compliance with internal policies, ethical guidelines (e.g., social audits, responsible production), and mandatory global supplier implementations across all countries.

Sustainability Integration:Drive and implement sustainability strategies and activities within the sourcing of retail materials and in line with theL’Oréal for the Future Programroadmap

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related area.

Minimum 8 years of procurement/sourcing/category management experience, with a significant focus on Indirect Sourcing for Retail, POS, Print, or Promotional categories.

Exposure to across multiple countries or within a regional (SAPMENA) context will be a significant plus.

Excellent communication and influencing skills (written & verbal) with exceptional stakeholder management capabilities across diverse internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Retail, Supply Chain) and external suppliers.

Proven ability to work and navigate effectively within complex, matrix organizations.

Excellent proficiency in data analysis and presentation tools such as Powerpoint, Excel, and Power BI.
