Work Location: Changi, Project Office at (Lavender area)
Working days: 5.5 days 8am to 5pm, alt sat full day
Salary: $5000 to $7000 (depends on experience)

Job Description
- Implement and maintain the company's WSH Management System, policies, procedures and programmes.
- Ensure compliance with the WSH Act, WSH Regulations, MOM requirements, Codes of Practice and relevant statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits and workplace observations to identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and potential hazards.
- Develop, review and implement Risk Assessments (RA), Risk Management Plans, Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and Method Statements.
- Monitor high-risk activities
- Advise management, supervisors and workers on appropriate risk-control measures and safe work practices.
- Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, WSH training and induction programmes.
- Coordinate and participate in emergency preparedness exercises, evacuation drills and rescue exercises.
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents and near misses, determine root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor implementation and close-out of corrective actions and safety observations.
- Maintain WSH records, inspection reports, training records, incident reports and statutory documentation.
- Liaise with MOM, WSH Council, clients, consultants, contractors and other relevant authorities on WSH matters.
- Participate in WSH committee meetings and provide recommendations to management for continual improvement.
- Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
- Conduct regular PPE inspections and ensure appropriate PPE is available and properly used.
- Monitor workplace environmental conditions such as noise, dust, heat stress, lighting and ventilation, where applicable.
- Support implementation of WSH campaigns and safety initiatives to strengthen the company's safety culture.
- Review safety performance indicators and prepare WSH reports, statistics and management updates.
- Stop or escal work where there is an imminent risk to workers' safety and health.
- Perform other WSH-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or other relevant subjects.
- Must be a MOM registered Safety Officer (Registered WSHO), ECO is an additional benefit.
- At least 3 years of experience in WSH field, preferably in construction industry.
- Able to provide hands-on support to sites as well as ability to take a strategic approach to improving EHS performance.
