Job summary

Sunnyhill Ace Pte. Ltd. seeks a dedicated Social Worker to manage the Tree House Student Services Hub and create a safe, welcoming space for students.

You will support identified students with additional needs, build relationships, monitor progress, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop key social-emotional competencies and self-regulation strategies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in relevant field required.
• Must be a registered Social Worker or registered Social Work Practitioner with SASW.
• Preferred: Restorative Practice certification / Building Relational Capacity.

Responsibilities

• Hub Management: Operate and maintain the Tree House/Student Services Hub.
• Targeted Intervention: Support identified students with regular relationship-building and progress monitoring.
• Competency Development: Equip students with social-emotional and self-regulation skills.
• Socio-Emotional Support: Help students transition back into regular classes.
• Program Planning: Design after-school intervention programs covering academic support and youth engagement.
• Case Reporting & Reviews: Document needs, escalate when needed, and conduct term-end reviews.

Working Hours

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
• Fridays: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
• Rest Days: Off on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted Public Holidays

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

Primary duties include:

• Hub Management: Operationalize and maintain the \"Tree House\" / Student Services Hub to provide a safe and welcoming space for students.
• Targeted Intervention: Support identified students with additional needs through regular relationship-building, progress monitoring, and active multi-disciplinary collaboration.
• Competency Development: Equip students with key social-emotional competencies, practical self-regulation methods, executive functioning skills, and conflict-resolution strategies.
• Socio-Emotional Support: Assist suspended, absent, or struggling students with transition processes back into regular curriculum classes.
• Program Planning: Design and conduct customized after-school intervention programs covering academic support, mentorship, and youth engagement initiatives.
• Case Reporting & Reviews: Document student needs, report escalation cases to the School Leaders/Student Development Team, and conduct end-of-term program performance reviews.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Child Development, Youth Work, or equivalent disciplines.
• Mandatory Registration: Must be a registered Social Worker or a registered Social Work Practitioner with the Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW).
• Preferred: Certified Practitioner in Restorative Practice / Building Relational Capacity (WSQ accredited or internationally recognized).

Experience & Skills

• Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience working with children/youth in a social service agency, school environment, or community setting.
• Meticulous, highly responsible, and capable of working independently.
• Excellent interpersonal, rapport-building, and communication skills.
• Physically, medically fit and healthy to handle an active school landscape
