Job summary

SHINE CHILDREN AND YOUTH SERVICES, Singapore, seeks a Social Work Associate to support the CREST-Youth programme developed with AIC and MOH. You will engage at‑risk youths, facilitate group sessions, and assist with data collection and quarterly reporting while providing administrative support to the team.

You will conduct outreach activities in communities and schools, deliver youth‑friendly psychoeducation, and collaborate with families and stakeholders to plan holistic care.

Qualifications

• Diploma in social work, counselling or psychology is required or preferred.
• Experience in healthcare/community care is desirable.
• Experience with children and youth, especially in social service settings, is preferred.
• Experience with group facilitation and working with volunteers is an added advantage.
• Experience with programme development and implementation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Engage at-risk youths to build rapport and conduct screening.
• Conduct mental health screening and provide psycho-social support at individual and group levels.
• Prepare and submit required reports and maintain case files.
• Coordinate and support group sessions, including facilitation and logistics.
• Develop action plans with families, schools, and community partners to support clients.
