Job summary

Melrose Home within CHILDREN'S AID LIMITED seeks a Social Worker or Case Worker to support children and youths in Out-of-Home Care. You will conduct casework, provide counselling, and ensure care plans support biopsychosocial development while maintaining family connections.

You will collaborate with schools, government agencies, and community partners, assess risks, advocate for access to opportunities, and help implement trauma-informed care aligned with MSF standards and best practices in

Qualifications

• Relevant social work qualifications from an accredited institution.
• Experience with children, youths or families in social services preferred.
• Ability to understand needs of residents in out-of-home care and manage risk and protective factors.

Responsibilities

• Caseload management and counselling for residents and families.
• Coordinate care plans and ensure their implementation within the home.
• Participate in resident assessments, group activities and community programmes.
• Advocate for vulnerable children and youth with partners and agencies.
• Adhere to case management SOPs and organizational policies.
• Undertake additional duties as directed by management.
