Job summary

A well-known animal hospital in Singapore is seeking an experienced veterinary nurse to support emergency situations and provide care for hospitalized animals. The role includes evaluating admissions, assisting with treatment, and managing post-operative care. Candidates with relevant qualifications in Veterinary Nursing or Animal Care are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided for entry-level candidates.

Qualifications

• Candidate with relevant qualification in Veterinary Nursing or Animal Care are welcome to apply.
• Prior experience in veterinary clinics or animal hospitals is preferred.
• Experience in veterinary anaesthesia & emergency is preferred.

• Basic $5000-$7000

• 4 days a week on rotational basis

• Location: Central

• Well-known and established animal hospital

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and facilitate the admission process for new pets/animals.

• Provide support for anaesthesia monitoring and recovery during emergency situations.

• Assist emergency veterinarians with care and treatment of hospitalized animals.

• Oversee and monitor critical animals closely.

• Perform radiographic imaging to assist diagnosis and treatment.

• Safely restrain animals during exams and treatments.

• Prepare patients for surgeries and manage post-operative care including bandaging and recovery.

• Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients regarding treatment and care.

Requirements

• Candidate with relevant qualification in Veterinary Nursing or Animal Care are welcome to apply.
