Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd is hiring a Liferaft Service Technician in Singapore to inspect, service and repair life-saving equipment. You will conduct testing, inflation, leak inspections and on-site servicing, ensuring safety standards are met.

The role involves dismantling and replacing worn components, repacking liferafts, and maintaining detailed service records. Office hours are Mon-Fri at the North location with accessible transport options from Clementi and Tampines.

Qualifications

• NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with relevant technical or hands-on servicing experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of liferafts and life-saving equipment.
• Conduct testing, inflation, pressure checks and leak inspections to ensure equipment is safe and operational.
• Dismantle, inspect and replace worn, damaged or expired components when required.
• Repack and prepare liferafts according to established servicing procedures and standards.
• Carry out servicing and maintenance work both at the workshop and onboard vessels when required.
• Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports and documentation.
