Wushu Coach

We are a dynamic startup dedicated to nurturing and enhancing Wushu skills and passion among enthusiasts, catering to both leisure and competitive practitioners. Our mission is to provide top-tier training that fosters discipline, respect, and excellence in the art of Wushu.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Wushu Coaches / Instructors to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive Wushu training programs suitable for various age groups and skill levels.

This role requires a commitment to developing students’ physical abilities, technical skills, and understanding of Wushu philosophy in leisure and competitive space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging Wushu training curricula for students ranging from beginners to advanced levels.
• Conduct group and individual coaching sessions, focusing on technique, form, and competitive strategies.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and personalized development plans.
• Prepare students for local and international competitions, ensuring they meet the required standards and objectives.
• Promote a safe and positive training environment, emphasizing respect, discipline, and sportsmanship.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and trends in Wushu to continually enhance training programs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience in Wushu or related martial arts disciplines.
• Proven track record of coaching students for competitions and achieving notable results.
• Strong understanding of Wushu techniques, forms, and philosophies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate training schedules and competitions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Registry of Coaches (NROC) certification by Sport Singapore.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Experience in developing training programs for various age groups and skill levels.
• Familiarity with the local Wushu community and competition circuit.
