WTT FINANCE MANAGER

World Table Tennis (WTT) is a commercial entity created by the ITTF to grow the professionalization of table tennis by running ITTF’s commercial and events business. Taking a new, innovative and entrepreneurial approach to how table tennis should manage its competition platform and positioning, WTT has been tasked with re-imagining a new professional event structure, reenergizing the entertainment and fan experience, and re-defining the new era.

WTT is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Finance Manager who has good business acumen and will be responsible for the spectrum of operational tasks and projects under the Business Services Finance department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the full set of accounts and month-end closing for the Company and its subsidiaries

• Oversee daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, ensuring accounts are closed by the 10th of each month

• Prepare GST/VAT Returns, where applicable

• Manage cash flow by monitoring inflows, outflows, and ensuring adequate liquidity for operations

• Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards

• Assist with financial data analysis and budgeting/forecasting

• Liaise with auditors and tax agent, providing required documentation

• Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the Finance Director

REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy / Finance / Banking

• Proficient in MS Excel (Formula) - this is non-negotiable

• At least 5 years of working relevant experience in related field

• Analytical, meticulous with a keen eye for numbers

• Sound knowledge of accounting and reporting standards

• Experience with Xero would be advantageous

• Strong time management and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and with different teams

Desirable:

• Passion for sport and business;

• Ability to work in multiple languages.
