Our client is an MNC Consultancy in the water and wastewater industry. With more than 100-year heritage, helping companies across the globe efficiently and effectively collect, store, move and treat water and wastewater, plan and manage watersheds and harness the energy embedded in the treatment and movement of water.

Location: Tuas Nexus (Company transport provided from Jurong East MRT)

Working Days: 5.5 days

Job Description
  • Conduct site safety audit inspections, monitor and drive contractors’ close out of safety violations
  • Identify foreseeable risks and hazards in the worksite and in relation to the work activities and work sequence and assess suitability of contractors’ risk control measures.
  • Review contractors’ method statement, risk assessment and safe work procedure and recommend and implement practicable measures and safe work procedures
  • Facilitate Investigation processes and report to WSH Manager on all incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Liaise with main contractor representatives, subcontractor and relevant Authorities pertaining to safety matters
  • Monitor follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance and close out inspection findings and observations.
  • Ensure SMM implementation and compliance due to COVID-19 or any other pandemic outbreaks.
  • Inculcate a safe working environment and promote positive safety culture and training.
  • Relevant duties as and when assigned by Reporting Manager
Requirements
  • Diploma in Engineering or Workplace Safety & Health discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as WSH
  • MOM Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO)
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented and good team player
