A leading company in Singapore is seeking a WSH Officer to oversee safety management systems and ensure compliance with various ISO standards. The role requires a registered WSHO and ECO Officer with significant experience in the construction industry to conduct audits and risk assessments, while also collaborating with teams to implement effective safety measures. Candidates should be proactive in investigating incidents and liaising with authorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction.
• Experience with A1 or A2 construction company required.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Review and maintain Safety Management System, Safe Work Procedures, and Risk Assessments.
• Identify improvement areas and monitor implementation of recommended measures through site inspections and team engagement.
• Collaborate with teams to plan, implement, and maintain effective WSHE work plans.
• Investigate WSH infringements and industrial accidents, recommending preventive actions.
• Handle incident reporting, investigations, and propose corrective measures.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards, GGB, ConSASS, and Bizsafe.
• Liaise with relevant authorities on WSH issues.

Requirements:

• Registered WSHO & ECO Officer
• At least 5 working experience in construction industry (design & build/industrial warehouse)
• Working experience with A1 or A2 construction company.
