Job summary

HONG SHIN BUILDERS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a MOM registered WSHO cum ECO to oversee workplace safety, health, and environmental programs. You will enforce rules, lead incident investigations, and coordinate with authorities to maintain compliance across site operations.

You will conduct trainings, lead emergency response drills, and drive continuous improvement of WSH procedures in collaboration with the project team and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety, health and environmental (SHE) management.
• Ability to conduct internal audits for ISO standards.
• Strong communication and training delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly toolbox meetings and participate in daily toolbox meetings.
• Enforce house rules and take action for non-compliance with stakeholders.
• Work with project team to eliminate safety, health and environmental hazards.
• Establish, review, update and improve WSH procedures and policies.
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety and environmental regulations.
• Facilitate internal auditing for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
• Lead incident reporting and investigation; manage emergencies.
• Lead and manage site WSH matters for company and subcontractors.
• Supervise security operations and guide Site Emergency Response Team (SERT) training.
• Organise drills and safety-related training for staff and subcontractors.
• Audit equipment and machineries; implement safety campaigns; liaison with authorities.

• MOM Registered WSHO cum ECO
• Conduct monthly Mass Toolbox Meeting and also, participate in the Daily Toolbox meeting
• Enforce house rules on all stakeholders and take action when necessary for non-compliance Work closely with the project team to eliminate security, safety, health and environment hazards
• Establish, review, update and Improve Workplace Safety and Health procedures, measures and policies in accordance with statutory requirements
• Ensure legal compliance to all statutory safety and environmental regulations and timely submission of mandatory documents
• Facilitate and conduct internal auditing, to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards
• Responsible for all incidents reporting and investigation Lead and manage emergency situation Lead and manage the project safety personnel
• Lead and manage site WSH matters for both, the company and subcontractors Supervise and provide guidance to the security operations
• Guide and train the Site Emergency Response Team (SERT) and also, organize drills
• Conduct safety-related training for the staff and sub-contractors including foreign workers
• Audit equipment, machinery and assets regularly to ensure that they are in good working condition and machineries are purchased for use Implement safety campaigns to promote and inculcate safety culture
