Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore seeks a Safety Manager to develop and implement safety management systems in compliance with WSH regulations. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in construction safety and hold MOM registration as a Safety Officer. This role offers a competitive salary up to $9,000 plus bonuses.

Job description

Benefits Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Safety Management System (SMS) to comply with WSH regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure workplace safety.
• Monitor compliance with the WSH Act and update safety policies based on regulatory changes.
• Liaise with MOM and external auditors for inspections, audits, and submission of safety documentation.
• Lead accident investigations, implement corrective actions, and ensure follow-ups are completed.
• Design and conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and induction programs for staff and contractors.
• Oversee safe use of equipment, machinery, and emergency response planning, including fire drills and evacuation.
• Track safety KPIs, analyze trends, and provide safety performance reports to senior management.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• At least 5 years’ safety experience in the construction industry with a proven safety program track record.
• MOM registered Safety Officer (Registered WSHO Certified)
• Skilled in inspections, risk assessments, accident investigations, and construction safety regulations.
• Strong team collaboration, communication, and people management abilities.
