Job description
Responsibilities
  • Developing, implementing and continuously improving occupational health and safety policies, procedures and programs
  • Conducting risk assessments and developing appropriate control measures to mitigate workplace hazards
  • Coordinating and delivering safety training and awareness initiatives for employees
  • Investigating incidents and near-misses, and implementing corrective actions
  • Maintaining comprehensive records and reporting on health and safety performance metrics
  • Liaising with relevant authorities and auditors to ensure compliance with all applicable workplace safety and health regulations
  • Promoting a proactive safety culture and encouraging employee engagement in safety initiatives
Requirements
  • Relevant Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health (Level B/Level C)
  • Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience working in a similar WSH Coordinator or health and safety role
  • Strong knowledge of workplace safety and health regulations, risk management principles, and safety management systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels
