Responsibilities
- Developing, implementing and continuously improving occupational health and safety policies, procedures and programs
- Conducting risk assessments and developing appropriate control measures to mitigate workplace hazards
- Coordinating and delivering safety training and awareness initiatives for employees
- Investigating incidents and near-misses, and implementing corrective actions
- Maintaining comprehensive records and reporting on health and safety performance metrics
- Liaising with relevant authorities and auditors to ensure compliance with all applicable workplace safety and health regulations
- Promoting a proactive safety culture and encouraging employee engagement in safety initiatives
Requirements
- Relevant Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health (Level B/Level C)
- Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience working in a similar WSH Coordinator or health and safety role
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety and health regulations, risk management principles, and safety management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels
