Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Workshop and Store Manager to oversee our workshop and inventory operations. The ideal candidate will lead a team of technicians, electricians, mechanics, welders, fabricators, and store staff while ensuring efficient equipment maintenance, inventory control, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the workshop and store
  • Supervise and lead a team of technicians, electricians, mechanics, welders, fabricators, and storemen
  • Oversee maintenance, repair, and servicing of construction equipment and machinery
  • Ensure proper inventory management, including parts tracking, procurement, and stock control
  • Implement and maintain workplace safety protocols
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely availability of equipment and materials

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience in similar capacity, preferably in the Construction Industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficient in inventory management, spare parts control, and safety regulations
  • Experience in construction equipment maintenance is an advantage
