Job summary

A leading company is seeking a WSH Specialist to oversee Safety & Health Management systems at their site in Outram Park. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry and be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Qualifications

• Must hold a degree and have at least 8 years of experience in the main contractor industry as a WSH Officer.

• Mon to Fri, from 8.30am to 5.15pm
• Salary is $5,000 - $7000 + 14 AL + Variable Bonus [ No AWS ]

Workplace Safety Management

• Spearhead the establishment and maintenance of Safety & Health Management Systems (SHMS) on-site
• Implement and uphold project and corporate SHMS protocols
• Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace and process-related risks
• Propose and enforce safe work procedures
• Enhance workplace safety performance through strategic measures
• Ensure adherence to Company's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and standards
• Ensure compliance with Statutory Requirements under MOM and NEA
• Contribute actively to the corporate EHS Committee
• Conduct in-house safety training sessions
• Develop and execute EHS plans, trainings, meetings, and promotional activities
• Conduct routine workplace inspections to identify and address hazards and risks promptly
• Enforce EHS / OSH regulations at the workplace
• Serve as secretary for the WSH Committee and preside in the absence of the chairman
• Investigate, manage, report, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders on accidents or EHS non-compliance incidents
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by superiors
