Job Scope:
- Attending safety inductions and ensuring personnel are trained.
- Planning and conducting safety site visits according to schedule.
- Identifying lapses in safety compliance and collaborating with contractors for rectification.
- Preparing inspection and incident reports, and following up on issues.
- Supporting safety improvements, safety initiatives, and promotion of safety culture.
- Guiding and inducting new safety personnel and assisting in digitalization efforts.
- Participating in safety meetings and project onboarding.
- Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with security and legal requirements.
- Supporting the digitalization and use of safety and manpower management technology platforms.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of practice as a WSHO or equivalent or higher.
- Must hold recognized professional qualifications and certifications related to workplace safety.
- Certifications include being a registered WSHO (Workplace Safety and Health Officer) under MOM.
- Must be Singaporean/Permanent Resident and possess MOM registration as a WSHO.
- Must pass security clearance
Key Skills and Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of workplace safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Ability to conduct safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
- Knowledge of digital safety tools, reporting platforms, and IT systems related to safety management.
- Proficiency in legal compliance, hazard identification, risk management, and safety communication.
- Ability to recommend safety improvements and lead safety initiatives.
