Responsibilities
- To support and administer all WSH-related initiatives.
- Proactively identify hazards and offer solutions to prevent incidents in a daily routine tasks.
- Handle daily site inspections on Health & Safety and environmental aspects, and ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
- Manage workers training on safe work practices and First day Safety Induction Course.
- Maintain and monitor safety records and checklists.
- Verify and Confirm the Permit to Work Systems together with relevant checklists for the compliance.
- Verify and Confirm the Risk Assessment/SWP/MS is properly conducted and ensure it is effectively communicated to the field workforce.
- Ensure Health & Safety and Environmental Management system is effectively implemented.
- To recommend practicable measures to help protect employees from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.
- To investigate accidents if any, identify causes and take necessary actions to prevent similar accidents in future.
- To assist with the management of WSH programme and promote awareness to all stakeholders.
- To liaise and follow up with the relevant stakeholders on WSH matters.
- Other duties as may be assigned on a need basis
Requirements
- Possess Advance Certificate in WSH (Level B).
- Possess Work at Height Assessor / Managing WAH Course.
- At least one year of working experience in the construction industry.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
- Good at working with people at all levels and willing to work in a team.
- Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative.
