Job description
Responsibilities
Monitor EHS performance through audits, certifications, and assurance programs; track progress and implement actions for continuous improvement.
Evaluate health and safety practices, perform risk assessments, and ensure alignment with legal requirements.
Investigate workplace incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive measures.
Conduct training sessions on accident prevention and overall health and safety practices.
Inspect equipment and work areas to identify and address unsafe conditions.
Recommend improvements and preventive actions to resolve safety concerns and enhance workplace safety.
Support the implementation of global EHS strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.
Requirements
Minimum degree in Business, Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related field.
Certified Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO), recognized by the Ministry of Manpower in Singapore.
Registered Fire Safety Manager, accredited by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in safety management within the chemical manufacturing or a related high-risk industry.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse, multi-cultural teams effectively.
Well-versed in ISO 45001 standards and other relevant safety certifications.
