Qualifications

Job description

Our client is the global leader in commercial real estate services and investments. With their current expansion, they are looking for aSafetyOfficer to join the team as a key leader.

  • Perform safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with WSH regulations. Conduct periodic safety audits and document findings.
  • Carry out risk assessments to identify hazards, develop control measures, and regularly monitor them for continued safety.
  • Organize safety training, including toolbox meetings and emergency drills, ensuring personnel understand safety protocols and proper PPE use.
  • Investigate accidents and near-misses to identify causes, recommend preventive measures, and prepare incident reports for management and authorities.
  • As Safety Officer, implement and enforce protocols, updating them to reflect changes in regulations or policies. Liaise with regulatory bodies like MOM to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans, conducting regular drills for site readiness.
  • Maintain records of safety inspections, training, incident reports, and risk assessments. Prepare monthly safety reports.
  • Serve as the safety contact, promoting clear communication between management and workers to foster a safety culture.

If you are someone with the following, lets chat!

  • Diploma or degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Valid MOM-recognized Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) certification.
  • 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer with a strong understanding of Singapore's WSH regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction site safety practices and legal requirements.

Additional Information

  • 1-year contract (possibility of renewal)
  • 5.5 days work week
