A leading company seeks a highly skilled Workday Absence and Time Tracking Functional Consultant. You will work on the implementation and optimization of Workday's modules, collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders. This role requires expertise in configuration, testing, and providing training, ensuring effective leave management and time tracking processes.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Absence and Time Tracking Functional Consultant to join our client. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday's Absence and Time Tracking module, with experience in configuration, implementation, and optimization. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and support Workday Absence and Time Tracking functionalities to enhance leave management, accruals, and time tracking processes. Additionally, you will also work with technical teams - including data and integration, providing functional inputs and validating testing scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and support Workday Absence and Time Tracking module implementation, configuration and optimization.
· Provide expert guidance on Workday Absence and Time Tracking best practices.
· Gather business requirements, lead client workshops, develop and maintain functional documentation and translate requirements into Workday system configurations.
· Configure Workday Absence business processes, including leave of absence, accruals, time-off plans, eligibility rules, and absence reporting.
· Configure Workday Time Tracking business processes, including work schedules, time entry, time calculations, and approvals.
· Configure Workday security roles, reporting, and dashboards
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective integration of business processes
· Work closely with data and integration teams, providing functional inputs, validating test scenarios, and troubleshooting issues
· Conduct system testing, including preparing test cases, executing tests and resolving defects
· Provide end-user training and develop documentation
· Stay updated with Workday features and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency
· Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading and managing the team to achieve successful outcomes, making key decisions, and providing status updates to the PMO
Required Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience working with Workday Absence and Time Tracking.
· Strong understanding of Workday Core Compensation configurations, workflows, and reporting.
· Experience with Workday security, business processes, and integrations.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication, stakeholder and team management skills.
