Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking an Offensive Security Researcher focused on wireless security. You will probe cellular/baseband, Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth surfaces, and explore Thread, NFC and UWB in radio firmware and host software.

You’ll work with engineers to uncover vulnerabilities before adversaries, in an environment valuing technical grit and creative problem‑solving. Applicants with outstanding security research skills, strong knowledge of wireless stacks, and experience with security tooling and ML

Qualifications

• Proven vulnerability research in wireless tech: cellular/baseband, Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth.
• Strong exploitation and protocol analysis skills relevant to wireless stacks.
• Experience applying AI/ML tools to security research tasks.
• Familiarity with radio firmware, baseband processors and OTA behaviour is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead wireless security research across Apple platforms and radio stacks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify, reproduce and fix vulnerabilities.
• Develop security tooling, fuzzing and measurement approaches for wireless protocols.
• Assess baseband, firmware and host‑controller interfaces for weaknesses.
