Job summary

STEENBOK PTE LTD is seeking an Application Technical Specialist to lead modernization of Windows-based enterprise applications. You will drive upgrades, server migrations, middleware configuration, and production deployments while coordinating with IT security, infrastructure, and vendor teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years in enterprise IT—development, infrastructure, or tech leadership.
• Hands-on with Windows Server, IIS, and deployment/support.
• Knowledge of web/app servers, networks, OS, databases, and security.
• Experience leading upgrades, migrations, or modernization.
• Familiar with IT security controls, cert management, hardening, vulnerabilities.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Banking/financial services exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of application technology refresh and modernization projects, ensuring successful implementation across the project lifecycle.
• Oversee technical solutions for Windows-based applications, including application upgrades, server migration, middleware configuration, and production deployment.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, IT Security, Database, Network, and application teams to ensure technical readiness, system integration, and enterprise standards compliance.
• Provide technical leadership during design reviews, implementation, SIT/UAT, production deployment, and post-implementation support, resolving technical issues and minimizing project risks.
• Partner with business stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to manage technical dependencies, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure timely project delivery.
