About the role:
As a Windows Engineer you will:
- Engineer and manage a hybrid cloud Windows infrastructure, including Azure VDI and IaaS resources
- Implement configuration as code to optimize scaling and reduce operational overhead
- Develop PowerShell automation to improve platform reliability and address inefficiencies in Windows endpoints, infrastructure, and Azure resources
- Contribute to ongoing engineering, maintenance, and support to enhance the Windows environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Engineer and maintain hybrid cloud Windows infrastructure
- Automate PowerShell systems and use configuration as code for scalability
- Manage global Azure VDI (Windows 365, Autopilot, Intune)
- Use CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) to automate workflows
- Aggregate event logs into ELK stack/Splunk
- Improve Windows environment for security, availability, and scalability
To excel in this role you should have:
- 10+ years as a Microsoft- based tech engineer
- VDI expertise (windows 365, autopilot, Intune)
- Expert in Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory
- Skilled in configuration as code (Ansible etc)
- CI/CD experience for automating PowerShell workflows
- Experienced with event log aggregation
- Focus on security, scalability, and availability
