Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd in Singapore is seeking a capable Loans Operations professional to join our Wholesale Banking team. You will process and approve a full spectrum of loan transactions across overseas branches, maintain loan accounts in MCL and related systems, and ensure accurate, timely processing to meet cut-off times.

The role also covers operational support, risk and control adherence, and collaboration with internal stakeholders across time zones.

Qualifications

Degree Holder with 3 - 5 years of corporate loans operations experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Comfortable in data handling and analysis with Excel.
Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet strict payment cutoff times.

Responsibilities

Process and approve a full spectrum of wholesale banking loan transactions.
Process and approve loan account setup and maintenance in MCL and related systems.
Prepare, verify, and authorize payments, remittances and SWIFT messages.
Process and approve accounting entries related to loans, payments, and GL.
Perform daily reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain high standards of productivity, accuracy, and customer service.
Support time-critical loan processing across multiple countries/time zones.
