Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation is seeking a diligent Technician to support maintenance on the production floor. You will follow SOPs, perform PMs, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain safety and housekeeping standards on the module.

The role requires 12-hour rotating shifts and collaboration with Engineers to install, upgrade, and improve equipment. A strong analytical mindset and ownership are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Nitec/ Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Min 2 years of experience with Cleantech and Wet Bench equipment tools.
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift.
• Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Strong logical thinking and analytical skills.
• Highly committed with ownership and accountability.
• Passion for the semiconductor/manufacturing industry.
• Adaptable in a fast-paced environment and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOP and carry out CAS per specification.
• Execute scheduled / special preventive maintenance per PM schedule.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Maintain good housekeeping on production floor and support areas.
• Follow safety practices and safeguard tools and equipment.
• Use measurement instruments for data collection and create metrology files.
• Perform 12-hour rotating shift to support production.
• Assist Engineer in installation and hookup of new/upgrading equipment.
• Assist in implementing equipment improvement projects.
• Train operators and trainees on new procedures.
• Maintain and service support tools properly.
• Mentor on-the-job trainees and document line issues accurately.
