Job summary

JP Pepperdine Group PTE. LTD. seeks a motivated cook to support the Outlet Chef in food preparation and cooking of meals at City Square, Parkway, or Safra Jurong in Singapore.

You will prepare and cook items to the company’s quality standards, maintain freshness, and uphold hygiene while thriving in a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen.

Strong communication, a pleasant personality, and WSQ Food and Hygiene knowledge are a plus; flexible hours and monthly schedules apply.

Qualifications

• Min. 1 year experience in a Western-food kitchen as a cook.
• Demonstrate ability to work as a team.
• Possess a pleasant and outgoing personality.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude with a service-oriented mindset.
• WSQ Food and Hygiene is an advantage.
• Flexible work schedules as long fulfil 126 hours/month.
• Min 20 hours/week, or min 40 hours by 9th of the month (for mid-month pay-out).
• Working Locations: City Square, Parkway & Safra Jurong

Responsibilities

• Assist the Outlet Chef in the food preparation and cooking of meals
• Prepare and cook various food items according to the Company’s quality and cost requirements
• Ensure the freshness and quality of food items
• Perform kitchen tasks according to the kitchen task cycle and instructions from the Outlet Chef or respective supervisor
• Complete mise en place when required
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen
• Understand and ensure complies with the mandatory food safety and hygiene standards and requirements at all times
• Perform other duties assigned by the Outlet Chef
