A leading company is seeking a Contract Community Activity Coordinator to assist in their Elderly Programme, working Monday to Friday, overseeing patient engagement and ensuring safety during sessions. The role requires planning, organization, and interpersonal skills, making it a rewarding opportunity for those with a passion for supporting the elderly.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 12:30pm
Budget: Below $1,500 per month – under agency payroll
Contract Period: Until 31 March 2028
Responsibilities and Duties:
Main Duties
* Plan and manage the Individual/ Group engagement sessions for patient under the instructions and guidance of therapist and program executive
* Ensure smooth implementation of the sessions
* Transfer and porter patients for group sessions.
* Monitor patients’ safety and well-being during the activities.
* Assess, report and document patient’s performance during session
Administrative Duties
* Manage logistics required for session
* Simple data entry of patient’s assessment score and performance to excel document
Education and Training
* Train caregiver/ volunteers on the type of engagement activities that patient responded well to
* Support program executive in orientating new volunteers.
Job Requirements:
* Able to demonstrate planning and organization skills
* Able to do simple data entry
* Good team player with good interpersonal skills
* Self-directed and able to work independently
* Experienced in managing volunteers is an advantage
* Prior experience working with Palliative patients is an added advantage
* Having manual handling skills is an advantage.
